Tryout for selection to one of the national elite player camps held by USA Beach in the late Summer!
Where? Raleigh area, NC (Southern Sand Volleyball Complex at Hope Chapel – 6175 Old Jenks Rd, Apex, NC)
When? Anticipated date April 24, 2015 5-9PM (all ages). This is the Friday evening before the NC AAU Beach Classic weekend.
Who? Open to all U.S. Citizens ages 10-25
Cost? Approx $75
How? Register online. Link to provided when USA Beach announces tryouts
Tryout Details:
- You do not need to sign-up with a partner
- Each tryout lasts 3-4 hours. There is a physical test component and a skills evaluation component
- Evaluation results are sent to athletes after the tryout (typically at end of tryout season in early June)
- Athletes are evaluated and ranked compared to the tryout population from across the country

University (U26) – Born in 1989 through 1993
Novice (U23) – Boring in 1993 or 1994
Junior (U21) – Born in 1995 or 1996
Yout (U19) – Born in 1997 or 1998
Select (U17) – Born in 1999 or 2000
Future Select (U15) – Born in 2001 or 2002
Future Stars(U13 – Girls Only) – Born in 2003 or 2004
