Overview
This program honors each year one or more participants in Southern Sand Volleyball’s current year-round program offerings who demonstrate an excellence in all the following areas:
- Academics
- Growth as a beach volleyball player
- Living by our Southern Sand Volleyball CREED (at practices/events and beyond)
Awards are eligible for payment of tuition expenses and fees, books, supplies and equipment required for course work in pursuing a degree at an educational institute beyond High School. Payment is typically paid directly to the educational institute the recipient desires the award to be directed to cover some of its tuition fees.
Eligibility
- Active participant in one of our current year-round programs (typically run November-July). While the primary candidates for this program are High School seniors, younger participants are welcome to apply for consideration. If a High School Senior, recipient is expected to finish out their current program season. For any younger recipients, it is expected that he/she participates in all remaining seasons until graduation from High School as part of conditions for full receipt of awarded funds.

Award Amounts
$250-$2000. The amount and number of awards are subject to change each year. The number of years a recipient has been in the Southern Sand Volleyball year-round programs is one of the considerations in the award amount offered.
